Rev. T. H. & Sis. Joan Sheppard

Pastor Sheppard was born to Howard W. & Rev. Alice L. Sheppard on August 01, 1943 in Columbus, GA. He received the Holy Ghost and was baptized in the name of Jesus when he was sixteen years of age under the ministry of Rev. Alice L. Sheppard. He married his wife, Joan, on August 25, 1966. They have three sons (Mark, Len, and T.C.) and eight grandchildren.

Pastor Sheppard attended Apostolic Bible Institute in St. Paul, MN from 1972 until 1974. He was ordained by the United Pentecostal Church International on July 14, 1981 in the State of Georgia under District Superintendent, C.C. Wheatley and by General Superintendent, N. A. Urshan. He served as the associate pastor at the First United Pentecostal Church of Columbus, GA from 1976 until 1985 at which time he came to Millington, TN to assume pastorate of the First United Pentecostal Church of Millington, where he still serves as the senior pastor today.
